HELP PLANT "SEEDS OF HOPE"
Volunteering and serving in local missions helps improve the quality of life in our community and brightens the lives of those who need help. We can give our time and our talents to offer a helping hand, a kind word, a gentle attitude, and a listening ear. We can share our lives, our concern and our caring. When we open up our lives and share, we send out Seeds of Hope; seeds that provide nourishment, comfort and joy. In the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10: 25-37), Jesus shows us that a neighbor should be willing to go out of his way to help others. As Jesus' followers, He asks us to be good neighbors throughout the Frankfort community. By sharing our gifts we can serve as the type of good neighbors that we are called to be. Please join with fellow church members in a united commitment by participating in the Seeds of Hope program of local ministry and service.
Following is a list of Seeds of Hope ministries for 2011:
PARENTING MATTERS - Held the first Monday of each month from 6:00-7:30pm. Parenting Matters is a new ministry/mission in the community of which we are hosting in our church building. This program focuses on parents of children ages three to seven. We need help in areas of a leader for the child care with experience as a daycare provider or teacher, child care helpers, mentors, and kitchen help. If you have any questions, contact the church office.
