Serving the Lord
You can find a way to serve the Lord in our local church and in our mission to the community with our
"Seeds of Hope" Volunteer Program here at our church.
There are registration forms available in the church office.
By serving others, we serve Christ, for He said,
"Just as you did it to the least of these, you did it to Me."

Habitat for Humanity |
The Habitat for Humanity builds homes in partnership with people in need. Through this program, volunteers work side-by-side to build affordable homes for low-income families. Volunteer opportunities include a variety of construction jobs, clean-up, and providing food for the workers. Shifts are a few hours, one half day or one full day. | |
| Open Door Health Clinic | 654.9544 | The Open Door Health Clinic is a faith-based ministry that aims to serve the many medical needs of low income and uninsured/underinsured people of Clinton County. Volunteer duties are to work at the receptionist desk to greet and process patients as they arrive, answer phones, schedule appointments and file. The time commitment involved would typically be two hours every other week, but the clinic will welcome any assistance. Hours are Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. |
| Parkview Home | 659.6378 | The Parkview Home is funded partly through Clinton county appropriations and partially through rent paid by the residents. The Seeds of Hope project for the Home will be sponsoring a carnival for the residents in April. Current plans call for church members to participate in activities and games with the residents and for a meal of pizza and soft drinks with them. |

Pregnancy Resource Center |
|
The Center helps women in the midst of crisis pregnancies by providing emergency assistance including clothing, food, furniture and housing. The Center needs women to serve as counselors. Hours are flexible; you may help as little or as much as you desire. Other service options include: helping with mailings, cleaning, sorting baby clothes, distributing flyers, or hosting a baby shower. Located at 1746 E. Wabash St. Grace Ann Byrd is the Center's Director. The e-mail address is: frankfort@hopeforafuture.com |

Rainbow Haven Women's Shelter |
659.4739 | This Christian ministry helps women and young families in crises by providing housing and instruction to them. Rainbow Haven provides low cost housing for women and their children from 6 to 18 months. You can help in many ways. Call to ask how you can be involved. |
| Salvation Army | 654.7896 | The Salvation Army can use volunteers at the thrift store any time other than on Thursdays. Our church has also help over the years in stocking the food pantry. Volunteers are always needed during the holiday season as bell ringers around Frankfort. |
|
Suncrest Elementary Volunteer |
654.7919 |
Volunteers will be asked to serve as "Class Assistants" with daily classroom activities. Suncrest has a reading/homework program that follows the regular school day. The after school program starts at 3:15 and last for an hour each school day. Call for more information. |
| Tree of Love | The Tree of Love provides much needed items to children in the Frankfort community twice per year; at the beginning of school, we provide new shoes and backpacks to elementary age children. At Christmas time, we give children clothes and toys. Every church member can participate. | |
| Donate flowers for worship | 654.4834 | This may not seem like a way to serve the Lord, but the purchase of flowers for a worship service enhances the sanctuary and stimulates the brightness of the hour. Call the Church office to reserve a Sunday you can support. Cost is $40.00. |
